Overview: The Cyclones continue their four-game homestand on Friday night against the Atlanta Gladiators. The Cyclones had their six-game point streak snapped on Tuesday morning against the Kalamazoo Wings, however Cincinnati has collected points in seven of their last nine games.

Tuesday Morning Recap: The Cincinnati Cyclones (7-6-1-0) fell to the Kalamazoo Wings, 3-1, on Tuesday morning. Forward Tommy Mele scored the lone goal for the Cyclones, who see their six-game point streak snapped. Cyclones goaltender Michael Houser stopped 30 of the 32 shots he faced in the loss.

Saturday Night Recap: The Cincinnati Cyclones (7-5-1-0) fell to the Toledo Walleye in overtime, 4-3, on Saturday night. Forwards Andrew Yogan, Kenny Ryan, and Colin Mulvey scored the goals for the Cyclones, while goaltender Mark Visentin stopped 27 of the 31 shots he faced.

Last Friday Night Recap: The Cincinnati Cyclones (7-5-0-0) collected a 3-0 win over the Kalamazoo Wings on Friday Night. Forwards Kenny Ryan, Nick Huard, and Andrew Yogan scored the goals for the Cyclones, while goaltender Michael Houser pitched the 23-save shutout.

Previewing Atlanta: The Gladiators roll into Cincinnati in the midst of a seven game in 10 day stretch, and are coming off of a 6-2 loss to the Toledo Walleye on Wednesday morning. Atlanta has played a league-high 16 games this season, and currently sit in second place in the South Division. They are led ECHL scoring leader Justin Buzzeo who has totaled 21 points (7g, 14a) through 15 games played this season. He's followed by forward Brock Higgs (3g, 15a) and defenseman Blake Kessel (5g, 11a). In goal, Matt Ginn has shouldered the bulk of the load for Atlanta, appearing in 12 games and posting a 5-5-1- record along with a 3.71 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage.

Inside the Series: This is the first of two meetings on the season between these two sides, with the second coming in mid-January in Atlanta. The two teams met twice last season, with each team winning on home ice. Cincinnati and Atlanta have met 16 times before, and the Cyclones hold a 9-7-0-0 edge in the all-time series.

Next Game Preview: The Cyclones wrap up their four-game homestand on Wednesday night against the Quad City Mallards in the third of eight meetings this season. Cincinnati has taken the first two meeting on the season and are outscoring the Mallards, 6-3 in those games.

TOP STORYLINES

Man on a Mission: Forward Andrew Yogan recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Toledo, and now has seven points (4g, 3a) in his last four games. His 15 points (8g, 7a) leads the team, and he has four multi-point efforts (6g, 4a) over his last six games.

The Puck Stops Here: Goaltender Michael Houser stopped all 23 shots he saw in Friday's 3-0 win over the Kalamazoo Wings. Houser has made at least 23 saves in three of his four games played this season, and he leads the team with a 2.41 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage. Houser has also helped out offensively, dishing out a pair of assists over his last three games played.

Helping Hand: Forward Peter LeBlanc recorded assist number 11 on the season in last Friday's 3-0 win over Kalamazoo, and is now tied for fourth in the ECHL in that category.

Get Up and Stay Up: All seven of Cincinnati's wins this season have come when the Cyclones score the first goal of the game, and they are 6-0-1-0 when leading after two periods. Holding leads was a strong point of the Cyclones last season, having posted a 24-7-1-0 record when leading after one period, and a 30-1-0-1 mark when leading after two periods.

Heating Up: After only recording a pair of assists in Cincinnati's first five games, forward Nick Huard has three goals and four assists in his last eight games played. Huard is the Cyclones' top returner this season after a stellar rookie season where he ranked sixth in League rookie scoring with 52 points (21g, 31a), and first in power play goals with 15.

All Aboard: The Cincinnati Cyclones have announced this year's PBR Party Express Bus Trip. The annual fan excursion will take place from Thursday, January 12 through Sunday, January 15 and will feature a Nashville Predators game and a Cincinnati Cyclones game. The first stop on the trip will be in Nashville, TN, to watch Cincinnati's National Hockey League (NHL) affiliate Nashville Predators take on the Boston Bruins on Thursday night. From there, the PBR Party Express will head to Atlanta, GA, for a Saturday evening affair between the Cyclones and Atlanta Gladiators.
