Curve to celebrate Lozinaks' HOF induction, Altoona Area School District with Bobblehead giveaways

CURVE, Pa. - The Altoona Curve return to Peoples Natural Gas Field on Thursday to begin a homestand filled with giveaways, fireworks, and great values as Richmond and Erie pay their first visits of the season. Highlights include Friday's spectacular Fireworks show and Altoona Mountain Lion Bobblehead giveaway, presented by The Altoona Mirror, and the Bob & Joan Lozinak Double Bobblehead giveaway on Saturday, presented by Peoples. We'll have a Youth Baseball Clinic and Let's Move Blair County Health Fair on Sunday, plus great values on Throwback Thursday, MEGA Monday, Two-for-Tuesday, and Student Rush Wednesday.

Thursday, April 21 vs. Richmond Flying Squirrels | 6 p.m.

- Throwback Thursday presented by Rocky 104.9: Fans can take advantage of $1 Kunzler hot dogs, as well as $2 Miller Lite 16 oz. drafts and 22 oz. sodas. The Curve will take the field in "Throwback Thursday" jerseys, paying tribute to the inaugural 1999 uniforms worn by the first Altoona Curve team.

- 50s Night: We're throwing it back with a salute to the 1950s. Come dressed in your best poodle skirt, leather jacket or whatever harkens you back to the days of malt shops and jalopies.

- FREE Ritchey's Dairy Kids' Club Game: Kids 12-and-under who are members of the Ritchey's Dairy Kids' Club will receive free entrance to the home stand opener against Richmond. The Ritchey's Dairy Kids' Club is a great opportunity for young Curve fans, and it's FREE. Just by signing up, your youngster will get free admission to Kids' Club games, along with other exclusive benefits for being a member.

Friday, April 22 vs. Richmond Flying Squirrels | 6 p.m.

- Fireworks: Stick around after the game for a spectacular Fireworks Show - our first show of the season!

- Altoona Area School District Night: In celebration of the Altoona Area School District, the Curve will be giving away the Altoona Area High School Mountain Lion Bobblehead to the first 1,500 fans, presented by The Altoona Mirror.

- Altoona Area High School Band Performance - The AAHS band will perform from 5:00-5:30 at the main ticket plaza and then from 5:40-5:50 on the field.

- Ball Launch - Fans can play the ball launch game following the Curve-Squirrels' game to win prizes with proceeds going to the Miracle League of Blair County

- Kids Run the Bases - All kids 12 and under may run the bases following the Fireworks show

Saturday, April 23 vs. Richmond Flying Squirrels | 1 p.m.

- Bob & Joan Lozinak Blair County Hall of Fame Celebration: On Saturday, we celebrate the Curve's founders and owners with the Bob & Joan Lozinak Double Bobblehead giveaway for the first 1,000 fans, presented by Peoples, building up to their induction into the Blair County Hall of Fame on Saturday night.

- Ball Launch - Fans can play the ball launch game following the Curve-Squirrels' game to win prizes with proceeds going to the Miracle League of Blair County

- Kids Run the Bases - All kids 12 and under may run the bases following the Fireworks show

Sunday, April 24 vs. Richmond Flying Squirrels | 1 p.m.

- Let's Move Blair County: Let's Move Blair County will be holding a health fair during the series finale against the Flying Squirrels. Tables will be set up with activities for fans and they will be able to get cards stamped upon visiting the tables for a raffle for a chance to win prizes.

- Youth Clinic: Free to kids 12 & under with a ticket to that afternoon's game, clinic attendees may register beginning at 9 a.m. with the clinic itself running from 10 a.m.-noon. The clinic offers a fun and unique opportunity for kids to work with Curve players and coaches on sharpening their baseball skills.

- Ball Launch - Fans can play the ball launch game following the Curve-Squirrels' game to win prizes with proceeds going to the Miracle League of Blair County

- Kids Run the Bases - All kids 12 and under may run the bases following the Fireworks show

Monday, April 25 vs. Erie Sea Wolves | 6 p.m.

- MEGA Monday: The Altoona Mirror brings you great deals this Monday, including $1 Bleacher tickets and Guaranteed Win Night! If the Curve win, you can redeem your ticket to use at any remaining MEGA Monday Curve home game in 2016!

- Mama Randazzo's Meatball Subs: The delicious meatball subs from Mama Randazzo's are back at PNG Field this, exclusively on Mondays.

Tuesday, April 26 vs. Erie Sea Wolves | 6 p.m.

- Two-For-Tuesday: Fans can take advantage of 2-for-1 specials on tickets, hot dogs and small popcorn every Tuesday in 2016, presented by the Atlantic Broadband.

Wednesday, April 26 vs. Erie Sea Wolves | 6 p.m.

- 4-Pack Wednesday: Get four tickets, four hot dogs and four regular size sodas for as low as $45.

- Student Rush Wednesday: Anyone who brings a current student ID can pick up a Bleacher ticket for just $2 to Wednesday games all season, presented by Loyal Gaming Rewards.

- M&T Bank Card Wednesday: Present your M&T Bank card at the PNG Field box office to save $2 off your ticket to Wednesday's matchup against Erie, presented by M&T Bank.

- Wing Wednesday: They were a hit last year, so we're bringing back Wing Wednesdays. Get 50-cent wings, with a minimum order of six, as the Curve close out the series with the Sea Wolves.
