CURVE, Pa. - The red-hot Altoona Curve will return home to Curve, PA on Friday as occupants of the top spot in the Eastern League Western Division to open a six-game homestand against the Erie SeaWolves (AA - Detroit Tigers) and Harrisburg Senators (AA - Washington Nationals).

In addition to seeing some of the best baseball the team has played in the franchise's first 12 years, fans can expect a promotion-packed homestand with something for everyone.

Highlighting the homestand will be a Webkinz Giveaway on Friday prior to the 6:30 p.m. game with Erie. The first 1,500 fans ages 14 and under will receive a Webkinz puppy courtesy of Thompson Pharmacy - It's All for You! Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, a huge post-game Fireworks show follows the 5 p.m. contest where EMS Workers will also be honored for their efforts. In addition, the Curve encourage you to bring your used cell phone to the ballpark as Family Services, Inc. will be collecting them to refurbish and reuse for their clients in need.

Sunday is filled with terrific family fun, beginning with a Youth Baseball Clinic from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m. The clinic is free with a ticket to the 2 p.m. game against the SeaWolves. The clinic is followed by a "Ladies at the Park" Celebration presented by The Circulatory Centers where the first 2,000 ladies (age 14 and over) will take home a Lunch Cooler Giveaway. Ladies ages 18 and over can also enjoy $5,000 worth of prize giveaways including a resort trip, salon spa treatments, iPods, GPS devices, hair styling sessions, jewelry, cosmetics, restaurant gift certificates, and much more! The ballpark gates will open at 1 p.m.

The Harrisburg Senators will then come to town to open a three-game series on Monday at 6:30 p.m. It's a Mirror Monday with fans receiving a $2 discount on grandstand and terrace level tickets with a coupon from the front page of the Sports section in Monday's Altoona Mirror newspaper. The series concludes with back-to-back School Kids' Day games at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Late shift workers can also take advantage of $1 off Grandstand and UPMC Health Plan Outfield Reserve Tickets to the contest.

Great seats are still available. Fans can purchase tickets in person at the Altoona Curve Box Office at Blair County Ballpark during normal business hours, online at AltoonaCurve.com or over the phone by dialing 877-99-CURVE.

Sunday, May 9 vs. Erie @ 2:00 p.m. (Gates open at 1:00 p.m.)

* Ladies Day at the Park: The first 2,000 ladies ages 14 and over will take home a Lunch Cooler Giveaway thanks to The Circulatory Centers.

* Over $5,000 worth of prizes geared toward women will be given away during the game thanks to The Circulatory Centers.

* Youth Baseball Clinic: Registration from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. The clinic, which is FREE with a purchase of a ticket to Sunday's game, will last from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and be conducted by Curve players offering tips on hitting, fielding, pitching and base running.

* All kids 14 and under can run the bases following the game!

* Post-game "Bowling With the Curve." Join the Altoona Curve Booster Club for Bowling with the Curve at Holiday Bowl on Pleasant Valley Blvd. All proceeds benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation. * Mirror Monday, presented by The Altoona Mirror: Fans can check the front page of the sports section on Monday for a coupon on tickets to great seats to the game.

* Golf Night: The Curve salute all Golfers and invite fans to check out the Iron Masters table on the concourse located behind home plate.
