Ct Tigers Pi Day Celebration Extended Due to Weather

NORWICH, CT- The Connecticut Tigers, Class-A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, announce the extension of the 2017 Pi Day celebration through 7 pm on Thursday, March 16th . Due to the Winter Storm Stella, the Tigers front office will be closed Tuesday, March 14th . The special ticket promotion in celebration of "Pi Day" (after the mathematical constant of 3.14159...) will now run this March 14th at 9 am through March 16th at 7 pm. The promotion features tickets and food vouchers redeemable on Opening Night 2017, each for the special discounted price of $3.14. Opening Night for the Tigers' 2017 season is set for Monday, June 19th as the Tigers take on the Tri-City ValleyCats at 7:05 pm with fireworks after the game. Fans interested in purchasing tickets can visit the Dodd Stadium box office Wednesday, March 15th or Thursday, March 16th between 9 am and 7 pm, purchase tickets over the phone by calling (860) 887-7962, or by visiting cttigers.com to buy online throughout the sale period. Please Note that the Dodd Stadium box office and front office will be closed Tuesday, March 14th . Fans may leave a message on the box office voicemail system with their name, phone number, and number of Pi Day tickets and vouchers requested. All calls will be returned once the front office reopens to complete the Pi Day purchase. The Connecticut Tigers are the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Connecticut. 2017 season tickets, group tickets, mini plans, and team merchandise are now on sale! The front office and box office is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and can be accessed in person or by calling 860-887-7962.
