Crunch Trade Center Ben Simon to Grand Rapids in Exchange for Right Wing Ryan Keller

Syracuse, NY (February 26, 2007) -The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have traded center Ben Simon to Grand Rapids in exchange for right wing Ryan Keller.
Keller, 22, appeared in 38 games with Grand Rapids this season, recording 9 goals, 8 assists and 26 penalty minutes. A native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Keller split last season between Grand Rapids (10gp, 1g, 14PIM's) and Muskegon of the United Hockey League (65gp, 41g, 40a, 79PIM's).
Simon, 28, appeared in 122 career games with Syracuse, recording 22 goals, 36 assists and 170 penalty minutes. In 336 career AHL games with Chicago, Milwaukee and Syracuse, Simon has tallied 60 goals, 89 assists and 368 penalty minutes. A native of Shaker Heights, Ohio, Simon was signed by Syracuse on December 12, 2006.
