Crunch to Partner with Humane Society of CNY

Syracuse, NY (November 11, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they are partnering with the Humane Association of CNY at the club's Saturday, November 13 game vs. Hershey.
Any fan that brings a donation to the Humane Association of CNY table on November 13 will receive a raffle ticket to be entered into a drawing to win a team-autographed Syracuse Crunch jersey. The Humane Association of CNY will have a table on the upper concourse of The Oncenter War Memorial Arena prior to and during the game.
With the winter months approaching, the Humane Association of CNY is in need of the following items:
- Canned cat food (Friskies brand preferred)
- Canned dog food (Pedigree brand preferred)
- Cat and dog toys
- Laundry detergent and bleach
- Clean used blankets, comforters, towels or pillows
In addition to the above items, the Humane Association of CNY will accept monetary donations that will go towards funding for a new roof for their facility. The Humane Association of CNY is a no-kill, not-for-profit animal shelter, housing anywhere from 200 to 400 animals on a daily basis since 1965. The Crunch finish up a four-game road trip by traveling to Albany on Friday, November 12 before returning home to face Hershey on Saturday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena. Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 season are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office in the War Memorial Arena at Oncenter, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
