Crunch Sign Left Wing Kevin Harvey to Professional Tryout Contract

Syracuse, NY (December 4, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed left wing Kevin Harvey to a professional tryout contract.

Harvey, 24, has appeared in 21 games this season for Reading (ECHL), tallying two goals, seven assists and an ECHL league-leading 111 penalty minutes. A native of Sheffield, Ontario, Harvey was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in the ninth round, 270th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch's next game is Thursday, December 4 as they travel to San Antonio to face off against the Rampage at 8 p.m. The Crunch returns home on Friday, December 12 against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
