Crunch Sign Forward Everett Sheen

Syracuse, NY (March 24, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed forward Everett Sheen to an amateur tryout contract.
Sheen, 24, is coming off his senior season at Holy Cross College (AHA), where he appeared in 38 games and ranked first on the team in goals (17) and second in points (35), while serving as team captain.
A native of Lethbridge, Alberta, Sheen appeared in 149 career games with the Crusaders in four seasons from 2007-11, compiling 104 points (52g, 52a) and 82 penalty minutes. Prior to his collegiate career, the 6-foot, 205-pound forward spent four seasons in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) with Crowsnest Pass, Canmore, Drumheller and Okotoks.
The Crunch return home to face Albany on Friday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena. Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 season are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
