Countdown to Face-Off: K-Wings vs Road Warrors

For the first time this season, the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Greenville Road Warriors and ironically it will occur during the 32nd Annual "World Famous" St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game. All-time, Kalamazoo is 18-9-0-4 during annual St. Patrick's Day contest.

Less than 24 hours after watching their four-game overall winning streak come to an end, Kalamazoo returns home to try to continue their home cooking. The K-Wings enter this afternoon on a four-game home winning streak.

Like their nickname would suggest, Greenville have been Road Warriors. Today is game seven of a season-high nine-game road trip for Greenville. The Road Warriors hit the ice looking to extend a four-game overall unbeaten streak (2-0-0-2) in regulation.

It ain't Being Green

This afternoon, Kalamazoo will host the Greenville Road Warriors during the 32nd Annual "World Famous" St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game. The K-Wings, who are 18-9-0-4 in the annual classic, are 0-2-0-1 on Green Ice since joining the ECHL and are winless in their last four games (0-3-0-1) on St. Patrick Day.

No One Better Forward John Armstrong begins the day on a 15-game point streak. The 15-game streak is a season-high for the K-Wings as well as the enter ECHL.

Besides Armstrong, forward Alexandre Grenier has been racking up points. Grenier enters the night on a six-game point streak.

The K-Wings enter the game on a four-game home winning streak. The four-game streak is a season-high for the K-Wings.
