Battle Creek Revolution News Release

Queen City Storm

Game Preview

The All American League rivals will face off for the fifth time during the young All American Hockey League season and will be the third match up at Revolution Arena in Battle Creek, MI. The Revolution bring a 3 and 1 record against the Storm with a 7-1 win last time the two teams met at Revolution Arena on, November 30th, with the Revolution outscoring the Storm by the score of 13 to 2 in the two games at home.

The Revolution will bring a 6 and 1 home record into the game and look to improve on that record on home ice. The Revolution will bring a one game winning streak into the contest and look to snap their one game losing streak at home after falling to the Lapeer Loggers last weekend at Revolution Arena.

Blue Collar Hockey

The Battle Creek Revolution prides themselves on leading the league in goal scoring, goaltending, and penalty minutes. The Blue Collar Hockey Tour recorded a total of 35 penalties for 144 minutes last weekend in two contests. That included 15 fighting majors in just two games last weekend that included two goalie fights, line brawl, and bench clearing brawl.

Affi Returns

The Revolution will be with the services of Chris Affinati who is expected to return to the lineup after a one game suspension last weekend for the bench clearing brawl in Battle Creek, against the Loggers. The Revolution will be looking for the team captain to spark the line with his return on Friday night.

Dolgy Called Up

The Revolution will be without the services of the team and league leader in scoring Jason Dolgy who will be enjoying his first call up the 2010-2011 season with the Quad City Mallards of the Central Hockey League. Jason will return to the Mallard line up after being sent to Battle Creek after being one of the last training camp cuts. In 14 games for the Revolution he put up 25 points (9 goals, 16 assists) that earned his call up to the Mallards.
