Greenville, SC - The Greenville Groove fell to the North Charleston Lowgators 105-87 on Wednesday night in the BI-LO Center. The Groove falls to 14-13, while the Lowgators improve to 14-14.
Tierre Brown led the Lowgators with 24 points, while also dishing out 10 assists. Peter Cornell scored 23 points on 11-13 shooting, as five Lowgators scored in double figures.
Greg Jones scored 15 points to lead the Groove, who also had five players in double digits. Guard Donald Hand had six rebounds to lead the Groove. Ime Udoka led the Lowgators with 12 rebounds while also adding 16 points.
North Charleston shot 54 percent from the field, going 40-74. The Lowgators dominated inside, scoring 60 points in the paint to the Groove?s 46.
The next Groove game will be Saturday, January 25th in Mobile at 7:00 pm.
