Normal tied the game in the seventh when Ryan Lashley reached on a fielder's choice, moved to second on an Alex San Juan base hit and scored on a throwing error to tie the game at 1-1.
Washington grabbed the lead in the bottom of the seventh on a lead-off triple from Shain Stoner and a double to the left field corner by A.J. Nunziato.
