WINNIPEG - The Bakersfield Condors (1-0-0, 1.000) scored the opening goal and never trailed in a 4-1 victory over the Manitoba Moose (1-1-1, .500) on Tuesday night in MTS Centre. C Jujhar Khaira had two goals and G Nick Ellis made 30 saves for his first professional victory.

The Condors wrap the series with the Moose on Thursday at 5 p.m. Bakersfield plays their home opener on Saturday at 6 p.m. against the Tucson Roadrunners. The first 5,000 fans will receive a Condors retro cap courtesy of Eyewitness News, 98.5 The Fox, and Rabobank.
