CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today that the team has signed D Caleb Jones to an Amateur Try-out (ATO). On Thursday, Jones signed a three-year entry level contract with the Edmonton Oilers.

JONES 6'1", 192 lbs., Arlington, Texas

Selected in the 4th round, 117th overall by Edmonton in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft

Played 72 games with the Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and was the team's leading scorer among d-men with 55 points (10g-45a)

Spent the previous two seasons with the United States National Development Team and has represented his country internationally at the 2014 U-17 World Junior Hockey Championship and the 2015 U-18 World Junior Hockey Championship

Jones is the younger brother of NHL d-man Seth Jones who currently plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets and the son of retired NBA forward Ronald "Popeye" Jones who is currently an assistant coach for the Indiana Pacers
