This Week:

Thursday, September 21st: The Condors Job Fair will be held on Thursday, Sept. 21 from 5-6:30pm at the Holiday Inn Select located at 801 Truxtun Ave. next to the Rabobank Arena. The Condors will be looking for responsible game-day employees to help with game night operations, on-ice events and in-stands promotions. Friday, September 22th: The Bakersfield Homeless Center is hosting a Boots and Bachelors Auction for the perfect "girls night out" at Buck Owens Crystal Palace. Bachelors including Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will be up for auction to help raise funds for the families and individuals supported by the Bakersfield Homeless Center. Condors mascot Baby Cal will also be in attendance to help bid. The Condors donated a suite to the auction. Week in Review:

Monday, September 11th: C.A.S.A. of Kern County held their 10th annual golf tournament where members of the Condors front office manned the longest drive contest. Participants used a hockey stick to attempt a long drive and the winner took home an autographed stick by Mike Hofstrand.

Tuesday, September 12th: Director of Group Sales, Justin Fahsbender, attended the Drug Free Youth Summit meeting to help kick-off Red Ribbon Week for local elementary, junior high and high schools. The meetings lasted from Sept. 12 until Sept. 14 and were geared toward keeping kids off drugs. Red Ribbon Week will run Oct. 20 through Oct. 27.

Saturday, September 16th: The Boys and Girls Club of Bakersfield hosted "Day for Kids" to promote meaningful relationships between children and adults. Condors player Kevin Truelson was in attendance along with Condors mascot Baby Cal and the inflatable Slapshot.

Mark your Calendars:

Monday, September 25th: The Condors will hold national anthem auditions from 4- 6pm at the Rabobank Arena. Individual singers and small groups are invited to audition. The Condors are looking for Canadian National Anthem singers as well as American Anthem singers. To reserve an audition time please contact the Condors main office at 324- PUCK (7825).

Thursday, September 28th: The Condors front office staff will attend the Kern County Fair to help build a home alongside Habitat for Humanity from 1-6pm. Later that evening, Condors player Mike Hofstrand will attend the fair to visit with KUZZ and be available for autographs from 6-8:45pm.

Friday, September 29th: The Condors Care-A-Van will head to Delano with Goodwill Industries to visit Morningside Elementary and Delano Regional Hospital.

Saturday, September 30th: The Bakersfield Condors are holding mascot tryouts from 1-3:45pm at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center located at 1325 Q Street. The Condors are looking for energetic mascots to attend community appearances and interact with the fans on game nights. No experience necessary. Call 324- PUCK (7825) to reserve your spot.

Just for Kids:

Baby Cal and Colonel Claw'd are looking for kids to join the coolest club in Condorstown for only $20. Membership includes a Kid's Club T-shirt, free admission to six (6) games, membership card and exclusive gifts provided by the Bakersfield Californian, Bright House Networks and Wells Fargo Bank.

Parents, have no fear! You can attend the same games as your child when you purchase the Kids Club corresponding ticket plan.
