Last Week's Games:

(Wednesday, Jan. 27th vs. Utah) Eagles forward Johnny Lazo registered his first ECHL hat trick, as the Eagles notched their first win of the season against the Utah Grizzlies by a final count of 6-3. Goaltender Eric Levine improved to 8-3-0 on the year, stopping 26 of the 29 shots he faced in the contest.

(Friday, Jan. 29th vs. Alaska) Colorado grew its consecutive-game winning streak to a season-high five straight contests with a 5-2 victory over the Alaska Aces on Friday. Defenseman Sean Zimmerman scored his first two goals in an Eagles uniform, as five different Eagles skaters registered multi-point nights. Goaltender Clarke Saunders claimed the win in net, making 28 saves on 30 shots.

(Saturday, Jan. 30th vs. Alaska) Forward Johnny Lazo continued his dynamic play, scoring a pair of goals and adding an assist in the Eagles 7-2 victory over the Alaska Aces on Saturday. Defenseman Collin Bowman notched a goal and two assists, as Colorado won its 6th consecutive contest. Clarke Saunders won his 2nd straight start in net, turning aside 30 of the Aces 32 shots on goal.

This Week:

(Friday, Feb. 5th @ Wichita, 6:05pm MST) Colorado faces the Wichita Thunder for the sixth time this season, with Colorado holding an edge in the season series with a record of 3-2-0 against Wichita. The Eagles completed a three-game sweep of the Thunder with a 4-0 victory in their last meeting on December 12th at the Budweiser Events Center. Colorado enters Friday's contest having won three of their last four games on the road and six straight games, overall.

(Saturday, Feb. 6th @ Missouri, 6:05pm MST) The Eagles take on the Missouri Mavericks for the third time this season and for the first time at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, MO. Colorado handed the Mavericks a 5-3 loss in the last meeting between the teams on January 16th at the Budweiser Events Center. Missouri enters the week having only suffered five regulation losses all season and a record of 17-1-0 at home. The Mavericks currently reside in 1st place in both the Central Division and Western Conference standings.
