CLEVELAND MONSTERS: Cleveland's Justin Scott Earns First NHL Call-Up

CLEVELAND - The AHL's defending Calder Cup Champions, the Cleveland Monsters, proudly powered by Constellation, announced Friday that the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets recalled rookie center Justin Scott for the first time in his professional career. An undrafted native of Burlington, ON, Scott signed with Columbus as a free agent on April 15, 2016 and has 3-3-6 with eight penalty minutes and a -5 rating to his credit in 16 appearances for the Monsters this season.

A 6'1", 202 lb. left-handed shooter, Scott, 21, appeared in 251 games for the OHL's Barrie Colts prior to his professional career, notching 69-78-147 with 152 penalty minutes and a +65 rating over the course of four OHL seasons from 2012 to 2016.
