Cleveland Gladiators Announce 2013 Schedule
November 13, 2012 - Arena Football League (AFL) - Cleveland Gladiators News Release
The Arena Football League announced its 2013 schedule this afternoon, which will see the Cleveland Gladiators play the first of nine home games at Quicken Loans Arena on Sunday, March 24th against the Spokane Shock at 1:00 p.m. The 2013 season will be the fifth for the Gladiators in Cleveland and the 26th in existence for the AFL.
The complete 2013 Cleveland Gladiators schedule is attached and can also be found here: http://clevelandgladiators.com/schedule/season/. The promotional and broadcast schedules for the 2013 Gladiators season will be announced at a later date.
The 19-week AFL schedule will see the Gladiators face 12 of the other 13 active teams in the league, with nine home games, nine on the road and one bye week (Week 4). Seven of the nine home games will take place on Saturday nights.
The team will face East Division foes Pittsburgh and Philadelphia (2012 Arena Bowl runner-up) twice each in 2013. The Gladiators finished second in the East Division of the American Conference last season with a 4-2 record (8-10 overall; 5-4 home/3-6 road).
The Gladiators will finish the 2013 regular season on the road in Utah on Saturday, July 27th. The final home game will be Saturday, July 20th against the Orlando Predators (7:30 p.m.).
Gladiators season ticket packages are on sale now, including the popular "$5 Football Package,' where fans can lock in their own 10-game package for only $5 and receive a signed Bernie Kosar football. Group tickets and birthday bash packages for 10 or more are also currently available for the 2013 Gladiators season. Single game tickets will go on sale at a later date to be announced.
