February 24, 2018 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Rockford IceHogs News Release

ROCKFORD, Ill. - With his assist tonight, blueliner Adam Clendening tied the franchise's all-time records for both points and assists for an IceHogs defenseman. Clendening has totaled 134 points and 110 assists in 203 games with Rockford to match the previous all-time marks set by defenseman Brian Connelly.

Clendening, 25, made his Rockford debut during the 2012-13 campaign and skated with the team for three straight seasons from 2012-15. He led all Rockford defensemen in scoring with 46 points (9g, 37a) during his AHL debut year in 2012-13, finished with a team-high 59 points (12g, 47a) the following season in 2013-14 and collected 13 points (1g, 12a) in 38 contests in 2014-15. Since returning to the IceHogs on Jan. 23 of this year, Clendening has posted a team-best 11 points (2g, 9a) in 13 games.

Clendening's 134 points and 110 assists ties former IceHogs blueliner Connelly, who posted the same totals through 227 games from 2008-12 and 2013-14.

Clendening now ranks second overall in franchise history in assists behind only Brandon Pirri's 132 career helpers with the IceHogs, and is tied for seventh in Rockford history in overall scoring (Pirri ranks first with 200 career points).
