Cincinnati's Cohen Named In Glas Co ECHL Player Of The Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Michael
Cohen of the Cincinnati Cyclones is the In Glas Co ECHL Player of the
Week for the period ending Jan. 4.
The 23 year old, who was traded to Phoenix in exchange for future
considerations on Monday, had six goals and seven points to help the
Cyclones win two games on the road against division leader Johnstown.
Cohen scored his first career hat trick and a career-high four points in a
6-1 win at Johnstown on Friday and added two more goals, including the game
winner, in a 4-2 win on Saturday.
He has a three-game goal streak (6g) and a three-game point streak (6g-1a)
and has 19 points in 31 games including a career-high 12 goals.
Cohen played in the ECHL as a rookie in 2007-08 and had 15 points (5g-10a)
and 22 penalty minutes in 30 games for Johnstown and 20 points (5g-10a) and
22 penalty minutes in 35 games with Pensacola.
He signed with Reading in 2006-07 after completing his career at Canisius
College and had six points (1g-6a) and four penalty minutes in seven games
for the Royals.

Cohen, a case of pucks will be donated to a Cincinnati youth hockey
organization by In Glas
Co, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its
sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, In Glas Co has donated more than
20,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
