CHL Suspends Missouri's Colt King

GLENDALE, AZ (December 12, 2013) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Missouri Mavericks forward Colt King has been suspended for seven (7) games and fined an undisclosed amount of money as a result of his actions in Tuesday's game versus the Arizona Sundogs.
King was issues a Match Penalty (attempt to injure) for his aggressive actions against an unsuspecting Arizona player. King was assessed 17 penalty minutes on the play that occurred in the final minute of Tuesday's 5-1 Missouri win. King was suspended three (3) games earlier this season for his actions in a game at Arizona on October 26.
The Calgary native will miss Friday's game at Allen, Saturday's game at home versus Allen, December 20 versus St. Charles, December 21 at Tulsa, and Thursday, December 26, Friday, December 27 and Saturday, December 28 at Rapid City.
