Chivas USA Kicks off 2013 Season Hosting Columbus Crew March 2

CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, December 18, 2012) - Chivas USA will host the Columbus Crew on Saturday, March 2, at The Home Depot Center in its 2013 season opener, the league announced Tuesday. The 18th MLS season will kick off Week 1 on March 2 with six matches and continue that same weekend with three games on Sunday, March 3.
Start time and broadcast information for the Rojiblancos' opener will be announced in the coming weeks. All MLS teams will again play a 34-game regular-season schedule as in 2012.
