Chiefs Reduce Roster as First Preseason Game Approaches

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs, following Sunday's annual Red-White Game, have reduced their preseason roster to 35 players in advance of their upcoming weekend exhibition tournament. The team will carry 33 players - 19 forwards, 11 defensemen and three goalies - into Friday's 3 p.m. matchup with the Vancouver Giants at Everett's Xfinity Arena.

The Chiefs will host their only home preseason game at Spokane Arena at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 17 versus the Tri-City Americans. General admission tickets for the preseason game will go on sale Wednesday, September 7 - the same day as regular season individual game tickets - for $10 each via the Chiefs' Ticket Office.
