Chicago Wolves Introduce Family Sundays Starting this Week

October 19, 2017 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Chicago Wolves News Release

GLENVIEW, Ill. - Every Chicago Wolves home game on Sunday afternoons during the 2017-18 season will be celebrated as Family Sunday at Allstate Arena. The Wolves host the first of 10 Family Sundays at 4 p.m. on Oct. 22 against the Tucson Roadrunners.

"Sunday afternoons are a perfect opportunity for families to reconnect and to enjoy time together before starting another busy week," said Wolves president Mike Gordon. "We're excited to provide families with this fun-filled Family Sunday experience at our games."

Each Family Sunday starts with a giveaway for the first 1,000 kids through the door as the Wolves have partnered with several of Chicago's premier family destinations. Depending on the game, the door prize will be a free admission pass to Arlington International Racecourse, Brookfield Zoo, Chicagoland Speedway, Disney on Ice, Museum of Science and Industry, Raging Waves Waterpark, Santa's Village Azoosment Park or an hour of free arcade play at GameWorks in Schaumburg.

Family Sundays also feature free face-painting and sign-making stations on the Allstate Arena concourse. Immediately after each Family Sunday game, selected Wolves players will host an autograph session on the concourse.

Half-price Family Sunday kids tickets are available at the Allstate Arena box office on the day of the game. Kids 2 and under are admitted free.

To take advantage of the Family Sunday package this Sunday (or any other Sunday through the regular-season finale on April 15), visit ChicagoWolves.com or call 1-800-THE-WOLVES.
