CHICAGO - Sky return from a preseason road trip to play their fourth and final preseason exhibition game of the 2009 WNBA preseason. On Tuesday, June 2 the Sky will compete in the first-ever Basketball Battle of the Sexes game against an all-male celebrity Entertainment League (E-League) team. The game tips of at 7:00pm at the UIC Pavilion, tickets are still available and can be purchased at www.chicagosky.net. On June 1, both teams will compete against fans on a number of sports themed arcade games beginning at 7:00pm. Admission to the event is free to the public.

2009 SKY FINAL ROSTER

Sky will wrap up their 2009 training camp, held at Attack Athletics at 2641 W. Harrison St. finalizing the 11-player regular season roster on June 3. The Sky waived Jennifer Risper on Saturday, May 30. Risper, selected by the Sky in the third round (29th overall) of the 2009 WNBA Draft appeared in three pre-season games for the Sky averaging 2 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. The Sky's roster currently consists of 12 players, and will have to be reduced to 11 at the conclusion of training camp.

SKY SEASON OPENER

The Sky opens up the 2009 WNBA season, the teams fourth season, on the road on June 6 in Minnesota at 7:00pm CDT. The Sky split last year's series, 1-1, beating the Lynx in their last matchup 73-71. The Sky hosts their home opener on June 12 against the Atlanta Dream at 7:30pm CDT at the UIC Pavilion. The Sky lead the all-time series 3-1, beating the Dream in their last match 79-66.
