Chicago Mustangs Defeat the Milwaukee Wave Second Time this Season, 8-3

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - The Chicago Mustangs, proud members of the Major Arena Soccer League (www.MASLSoccer.com), defeat the Milwaukee Wave 8-3 on December 11th for the second time this season.
The Chicago Mustangs came out strong in the first quarter of the game with their newest player Adolfo "Bofo" Bautista. Playing strong defense, the team's energy was demonstrated by majority of play taking place in the Mustangs offensive end. With 40 seconds left in the quarter, the Milwaukee Wave score a goal, ending the quarter with a one-goal lead.
The second quarter began on a high note with the Chicago's Adolfo "Bofo" Bautista scoring his first goal for the team at 3:54 with an assist from Efrain "Wilo" Martinez. Holding strong defense and drawing more energy from their fans, the Chicago Mustangs turn up the heat with great pressure on the ball. A great defensive effort from Luis Barajas sets up Taylor Bond on a breakaway. At 13:20, Taylor Bond scores puts his chance away, giving the Mustangs their first lead of the game at 2-1.
The Chicago Mustangs return from halftime with more great defense and Adolfo "Bofo" Bautista scoring his second goal of the game at 8:48. "Bofo's" goal was followed up quickly with another by Taylor Bond who put one in the net with an assist from Miguel Vaca. Up 4-1, the Chicago Mustangs continue to move the ball and maintain possession. A goal from the Milwaukee Wave at 11:55 brings the game to 4-2.
Chicago's Miguel Vaca kicks off the fourth quarter scoring his first goal of the game at 2:38, putting the Mustangs up 5-2. At 2:56, the Wave respond with a goal. The quarter continues with nice give and go between Luis "Peewee" Ortega and Alexis Camarena and a shot by Efrain "Wilo" Martinez. At 6:28, Miguel Vaca assists Taylor Bond giving Bond his third goal of the game. With aggressive goalkeeping, Jesus Flores does a good job to dispossess the Wave. At 11:09 Miguel Vaca puts one in the net bringing the game to 7-3. The game ends with the the final goal scored by Carlos Avina Ruiz with an assist from Taylor Bond, score 8-3.
The Chicago Mustangs are away on Friday, December 18th to play the Cedar Rapids Rampage again. The Mustangs recently defeated the Rampage 14-4.
