CHECKERS BURNED BY INFERNO, LOSE 6-4

Charlotte, N.C.- The Checkers were down by three goals twice in the game and were unable to mount enough of a comeback losing at the hands of the visiting Columbia Inferno by a score of 6-4.

Gwinnett, GA. - Despite being down three goals in the first minutes of play during the initial period, the Checkers scored five unanswered goals to defeat the Gwinnett Gladiators, 5-3.
