Checkers Announce 2016 Opening Weekend Dates

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte Checkers today announced that their first home games of the 2016-17 season will take place on Friday, Oct. 28, and Saturday, Oct. 29, at Bojangles' Coliseum.
Fans may secure their seats for opening night on Oct. 28 right now by taking advantage of two available offers.
With the Checkers' Father's Day Pack, available now until Sunday, June 19, fans will receive four tickets to opening night, four tickets to another game of their choice and a $20 merchandise credit for just $50.
The team is also offering a buy-one-get-one free group deal, in which anyone who purchases a group of at least 15 people for opening night will receive another group outing for a game of their choice later in the season free of charge.
Both offers can be purchased now by calling the Checkers at (704) 342-4423 or by emailing tickets@gocheckers.com. Exact start times for opening weekend games, both of which will take place in the evening, and opponents will be announced at a later date.
Opening Weekend seats can also be secured now by purchasing 2016-17 season tickets starting at just $12.50 per game. Fans can also sign up now at gocheckers.com to receive information on mini plans, flex packs and individual tickets as it becomes available.
