Charles and Shaw Earn Player of the Week Honours

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimos earn two Gibson's Finest CFL Player of the Week honours from the 37 - 20 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders last Saturday.
Running back Hugh Charles earns his first Offensive Player of Week award for 152 rushing yards on 17 carries - an average of 8.9 yards per carry. He also scored a touchdown, had a nine-yard reception and a 14-yard completed throw to quarterback Kerry Joseph.
Kicker Grant Shaw earns Special Teams Player of the Week for his 166 punting yards, including a 63-yard punt that was recovered by Eskimo long-snapper Ryan King, and kicking seven times for 477 yards. This is Shaw's second Special Teams Player of the Week award. His first came in week one from the Eskimo win over the Toronto Argonauts.
