Champions to Play Exhibition Game at RCGT Park on Sunday

Ottawa, ON - Fans and media will get a sneak peak at the new-look Ottawa Champions roster this Sunday as the team welcomes the Can-Am League champion Trois-Rivieres Aigles to Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Park for an exhibition game.
The teams will hit the diamond for a 1:35 start and play a seven-inning game. Tickets will be $5 for adults 15 and up and free for anyone 14 and under while parking is free.
Fans will have a chance to see many of the new acquisitions in action during the game, including slugging first baseman Kenny Bryant, former Blue Jays prospect Brian Van Kirk, and Can-Am League veteran Matt Helms.
Concessions will be open for the game, including the brand new Lois and Frima's ice cream stand, and Champions Light beer will be available from the taps.
The game will be the third in three days for the Champions, who will face off against the Quebec Capitales in Coaticook, QC on Friday night before travelling to Shawinigan, QC on Saturday to take on the Aigles. Those games will each be seven innings as well.The Ottawa Champions open the 2016 season at RCGT Park on Thursday, May 19th against the New Jersey Jackals.
