Center Glyniadakis Returns to T-Birds

Albuquerque, N.M., January 30, 2007 - The Albuquerque Thunderbirds have re-signed former center Andres Glyniadakis, who was recently let go by the Seattle Supersonics.

Glyniadakis, 7'1", 280, was picked up by Seattle in November of 2006 after helping the Thunderbirds to the D-League Championship last spring. Glyniadakis played in 13 games with the Supersonics this season averaging just under 2 blocked shots and 2 rebounds a game. Last season with the Thunderbirds Glyniadakis averaged 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assist's a game.

Glyniadakis is expected to be in the line-up this Wednesday, January 31st, when the Thunderbirds take on the league leading Dakota Wizards at Tingley Coliseum. Wednesday will be dollar night, the first 100 fans to purchase a general admission ticket, at the box office, will only have to pay $1; game time is set for 7:00pm.
