Canucks Recall Jannik Hansen

The Vancouver Canucks today announced they have recalled right winger Jannik Hansen from the Manitoba Moose.

Hansen, 23, appeared in five games with Manitoba after being assigned to the Moose on conditioning on Jan. 28/10. In that span, the native of Harlev, Denmark collected two assists and five penalty minutes. Hansen has also played in 24 games so far this season with the Canucks where he has collected nine points (5g & 4a) along with six penalty minutes. In 84 NHL games with Vancouver, he's scored 30 points (11g & 19a) while racking up 45 penalty minutes.

Hansen has also played in 130 career games with the Manitoba Moose over his first four seasons. In that span, he has recorded 80 points (34g & 46a) along with 67 penalty minutes.

Hansen was originally drafted by Vancouver in the ninth round, 287th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
