Acadiana Cane Cutters News Release
The Acadiana Cane Cutters fell to the Brazos Valley Bombers 7-0 on Thursday at Fabacher Field in the first game of a two-game series.
This is the first time all season Acadiana has been shut out by any team.
However, Trey Jimmerson, out of Texas A&M, hit two of his three at bat, and Trenton Buchhorn, out of the University of Texas at Tyler, hit two of his four at bats. Acadiana's pitcher Brian Browning, out of Ole Miss, suffered the loss on the night.
The Cane Cutters will attempt to split the two-game series tomorrow as the Cane Cutters will play the Bombers at 7 p.m. at Fabacher Field.
