Canadiens Recall Louis Leblanc from Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - The Montreal Canadiens announced today that forward Louis Leblanc has been recalled from the Hamilton Bulldogs. Leblanc will join the Canadiens in Vancouver and will be available for Saturday's game against the Canucks.

Assigned to the Bulldogs on Wednesday, March 7th, 2012, Leblanc, 20, has played in 27 games for Hamilton this season, recording 19 points (9 goals, 10 assists) while registering two power play goals and 99 shots on goal. The 6-foot, 184-pound forward has played 28 games with the Canadiens this season, recording seven points (3 goals, 4 assists). The native of Pointe-Claire, Quebec has registered 37 shots on goal, 46 hits and displayed an even plus/minus differential while playing for Montreal.

The Bulldogs next take to the ice TONIGHT, Friday, March 9th, 2012 for Pink in the Rink, when they face the Toronto Marlies at 7:30 p.m. on Cogeco night at Copps Coliseum.
