Canadiens Recall Aaron Palushaj from Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - The Montreal Canadiens announced tonight that right-winger Aaron Palushaj has been recalled from the Hamilton Bulldogs. Palushaj will be available for tomorrow's game against the New Jersey Devils in Montreal. This his sixth stint with the Canadiens in 2011-2012.

Palushaj, 22, played in 19 games for Montreal this season and had four blocked shots, 15 shots on goal, and 18 hits. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound forward notched one assist, his first NHL point, on Sunday, February 5th, 2012 against the Winnipeg Jets. A native of Livonia, Michigan, Palushaj has suited up for 31 games with the Bulldogs this season, and leads the team with 31 points (13 goals, 18 assists) and has recorded 105 shots on goal.

The Bulldogs play TONIGHT, Saturday, February 18th, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Copps Coliseum against the Rockford IceHogs then wrap up their three-in-three weekend tomorrow, Sunday, February 19th, 2012 at 5:50 p.m. when they face the Rochester Americans at Blue Cross Arena.
