Brandon, MB - The Canadian Hockey League's number six ranked Brandon Wheat Kings fired 40 shots on goal en route to a 4-1 win over the Calgary Hitmen on Friday night at Westman Communications Group Place.
Zach Wytinck and Caiden Daley both recorded a goal and an assist to lead the Wheat Kings with Connor Gutenberg and Linden McCorrister adding singles.
Vladislav Yeryomenko provided the lone marker for the Hitmen, his ninth of the season.
Brandon went 0-6 on the powerplay while Calgary was 1-3.
The Hitmen will now wrap up their East Division road trip tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 13 in Regina against the 2018 Memorial Cup host Pats. Calgary is then back home on Tuesday, Jan. 16, to host the Saskatoon Blades. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
