Hitmen host Moose Jaw in The Brick Teddy Bear Toss on Sunday

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen scored three power play goals en route to a 6-1 victory over the Swift Current Broncos on Friday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Jake Kryski led the way with three assists while former Bronco Conner Chaulk netted a pair of goals. Mark Kastelic, Riley Stotts, Jakob Stukel and Orca Wiesblatt all added singles for the home side with Luke Coleman chipping in a pair of assists.

The Hitmen outshot Swift Current 43-15 with Calgary Flames prospect Nick Schneider making 14 saves in the win. Glenn Gawdin, another Flames prospect, was the only Bronco to beat Schneider to record his 25th goal of the season.

Calgary will now prepare for Sunday's visit from the Moose Jaw Warriors in The Brick Teddy Bear Toss. Game time is 2:00 p.m. at the 'Dome. There are still general admission press-level seats available for just $12 or a standing room concourse location for $14.99 (plus applicable fees). Secure a spot to this world-famous event by visiting Ticketmaster or the Scotiabank Saddledome box office.

This annual holiday tradition sees a need for more than 23,000 teddy bears to be shared by over 60 local agencies including the Alberta Children's Hospital and Salvation Army. Fans are asked to bring a new or gently-used teddy bear and toss it on the ice when the Hitmen score their first goal. Since the inaugural 1995 toss, the Hitmen, with generous support from their partners and fans, have provided the community with 323,343 teddy bears.
