TUESDAY'S RECAPS

Oklahoma City 5, Houston 2 - The Oklahoma City Barons advanced to the Calder Cup Conference Semifinals for the first time in franchise history with a 5-2 win over the Houston Aeros Tuesday evening. Oklahoma City won the series 3-1 and outshot the Aeros 143-76 during the series. Right wing Mark Arcobello, center Josh Green (two), defenseman Dylan Yeo and left wing Philippe Cornet scored for the Barons. The Aeros picked up goals from defenseman Nate Prosser and left wing Kris Foucault. Barons goaltender Yann Danis (3-1) earned his third playoff victory with 19 saves on 21 shots. Aeros netminder Mike Brodeur (1-1) took his first loss of the series stopping 22-of-26 shots. Oklahoma City went 0-for-4 on the power play. Houston was also 0-for-4 with the man advantage.

Chicago 3, San Antonio 2 - The Chicago Wolves jumped out to a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes of play and staved off elimination with a 3-2 win over the San Antonio Rampage in Game 3 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals Tuesday night at the Allstate Arena. Right wing Darren Haydar (two goals) and center Jordan Schroeder lit the lamp for the Wolves. Defenseman Alex Petrovic and center Bracken Kearns scored for the Rampage. Wolves goaltender Eddie Lack (1-1) earned his first playoff win with 18 saves on 20 shots. Rampage netminder Dov Grumet-Morris (0-1) took the loss stopping 21-of-23 shots. Chicago went 0-for-4 on the power play. San Antonio was 1-for-5 with the man advantage.
