Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls (19-27-1-6) begin a six-game road trip with a two-game set, tonight, against the Idaho Steelheads (34-15-1-4) at CenturyLink Arena. It is the fifth meeting of the season with the series knotted at two wins apiece.

San Francisco announced a couple of trades over the last week. On Tuesday they sent Alex Tuckerman and Martin Lee to the Utah Grizzlies in exchange for forward Bryan Cameron, who was assigned to the Bulls by Calgary, and future considerations. Cameron has had a hot hand of late, compiling nine points (3g, 6a) over his last 10 games with Utah. In addition, on Wednesday San Francisco traded Rylan Galiardi to the Idaho Steelheads for future considerations, which was announced on Thursday to be forward Tristan King, who was assigned to the Bulls by the Dallas Stars. King has been producing at better than a point-per-game pace this season, and has also been playing extremely well recently. Over his last five games he has 10 points (4g, 6a). Cameron and King will bring an additional offensive punch to the Bulls lineup, and both are expected to join the Bulls tonight in Idaho.

The last time these two teams faced off, the Bulls came away with an impressive 6-3 win. Through the first two periods, the Bulls found themselves down 3-2, before storming back with four consecutive goals in the third to stun the Steelheads. San Francisco received goals from Tuckerman, Kris Belan, and two each from Rob Kwiet and Peter Sivak.

Last Sunday, San Francisco couldn't overcome two second-period goals from the Stockton Thunder, losing 3-1. Going into the third period down 2-0, the Bulls mounted a comeback. They got a goal from Jordan Morrison, his 15th on the season, with assists from Rob Kwiet and Mikael Tam, to bring the deficit to just one. That would be their only goal, however, and Stockton sealed the victory in the final minute with an empty netter. Shots favored the Thunder, 29-27.

Despite the loss on Sunday, goalie Thomas Heemskerk had another solid outing with 26 saves. Since his return from injury on February 6, he has 110 saves on 120 shots. Over the last three games, he has been even more impressive, stopping 89 of 94 shots. That gives him a save percentage of .947 over that span.

The Idaho Steelheads have a strong hold on third place in the Western Conference with 73 points. They sit four points back of the Ontario Reign, and eight points ahead of the Stockton Thunder. The San Francisco Bulls are in eighth place in the Western conference with 45 points, and are just two points back of the seventh place Utah Grizzlies.

Tomorrow the Bulls will be back in action as they wrap up this two-game set against Idaho at 6:10 pm from CenturyLink Arena.
