Bullfrogs Travel to Madison for Last Time

The Green Bay Bullfrogs are on the road tonight to take on the Madison Mallards for the last time this season. The Bullfrogs are currently 2-5 against the Mallards this season and are looking for the series split with a win tonight. The Frogs are coming off of a 14-4 loss to the Mallards back on Monday night. The Frogs would make the game interesting, but, the Mallards would score nine runs in the last three innings winning the game.
The Bullfrogs come into the game 10-20 on the season and have won seven of their last ten games. Those seven wins include a five game winning streak, which was the longest of the season. The Bullfrogs are currently ninth in the South Division and the Mallards sit in sixth with a 16-16 record. The Mallards are deeply embedded in the playoff race, needing to finish fourth overall this season to make the final spot and are currently sit a game and a half back behind Lakeshore.
Last time out Trent Bauer was named the Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Player of the Game for his 2-4 day where he managed a run, RBI, and double. His final stat line: 2-4, 1 2B, 1 R, 1 RBI.
Last night Riley Smith participated in the Major League Dream Showcase. The Showcase was at the Duck Pond and Smith would have a great game. Officially Riley Smith went 1-4 with a RBI and a walk, as he would hit into a close error in his first at bat.
On the mound tonight for the Bullfrogs is Matt Goytia. Goytia so far this season for the Bullfrogs has posted a 5.02 ERA thrown 26 strikeouts and has a 0-1 record. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05.
