Bullfrogs Sign Talent from the South

Green Bay, Wis. - The Bullfrogs have recently signed three right handed pitchers from the south to make their way up to Green Bay for the 2016 season. Logan Elliot out of Mississippi State, Jeremy Graf out of Flagler College, and Peter Castillo out of Palm Beach State College, will give the Bullfrogs coaching staff options in the bullpen.

Elliot, a 6'2" 185lb junior from Dunwoody, Georgia, began his collegiate career at Tallahassee Community College before transferring to Mississippi State after his freshman year. At Tallahassee CC he earned First-Team-All-Panhandle Conference honors after recording a 7-1 mark and a 2.19 ERA with five saves in 23 appearances. At Mississippi State, in his sophomore campaign, Elliot made 6 appearances out of the bullpen. The submarine pitcher will create tough matchups against opponents, especially right-handed hitters.

Jeremy Graf, a reliever for the Flagler College Saints, will return to Green Bay for another season and provide the Bullfrogs with experience in the backend of the bullpen. The Lake Worth, Florida native is currently a junior after spending last season at St. Petersburg College. At St. Petersburg, Graf made 25 appearances out of the pen and recorded 5 saves. He finished with an ERA of 2.08 and 22 strikeouts in 26 innings. In his first season at Flagler College, Graf has been sharing the closer duties and is tied for the team leading in saves with 4. Graf has strikeout stuff, with 24 strikeouts and only 8 walks in 21.1 innings pitched. Last season, Graf appeared in 30 games for the Bullfrogs finishing the season with an earned run average of 3.19, 28 strikeouts, and a team leading 11 saves.

Peter Castillo has finished his first season at Palm Beach State College and made his decision to play his summer baseball for the Bullfrogs. The 5'10" right handed pitcher from Boynton Beach Florida made 9 appearances for the Panthers out of the bullpen. He finished with 1 save and threw over 16 innings in his freshman season. Castillo played his high school ball at American Heritage - Delray in Delray Beach, Florida.
