Bullfrogs on the Road for the Weekend

Wis- The Green Bay Bullfrogs travel to Wausau for a two-game series against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. The Bullfrogs are 3-3 against the Woodchucks this season and this will be the last time these two teams face off this season. The Bullfrogs are currently 8-17 on the second half of the season and the Wisconsin Woodchucks are 8-19 on the season. The Bullfrogs and Woodchucks are both coming off of off days the second of the season. The Bullfrogs find themselves on a season best five-game winning streak while the Woodchucks are lost a season long seven in a row.

The Bullfrogs their last time out swept the Wisconsin Woodchucks in a home series where they're bats were on fire. A 9-6 victory over the Woodchucks on Monday where they managed 17 hits and a 7-5 victory on Tuesday where the team managed 14 hits. Dan Leckie was named the Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Player of the game on Monday for his home run and Riley Smith was named the Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine Player of the game on Tuesday for his 3-4 day which included a triple.

Riley Smith was announced that he would participate in the Major League Dreams showcase on August eighth to play in front of many major league scouts in Madison. Connor Wollersheim was announced to the team which was picked by scouts throughout the season early last week. Smith was added recently due to an injury to a player that was announced to the team earlier.

On the mound tonight for the Green Bay Bullfrogs is Will Gilbert. Gilbert on the season for the Bullfrogs has a 2-4 record and has thrown x strikeouts, posting a 7.61 ERA Gilbert plays his school ball for Baylor University who sat out this past season.

For the Woodchucks is Drew Hanson, Hanson on the season is for the Chucks has posted a 4.50 ERA, appearing in five games, throwing 15 strikeouts, and 15 walks.
