Bulldogs partner with City Kidz and celebrate St. John's rivalry

The Hamilton Bulldogs have announced in partnership with City Kidz, that the hockey club will be celebrating the 100th and final meeting between the Bulldogs and St. John's Maple Leafs on Friday, April 1st (7:30 p.m.) at Copps Coliseum.
On April 1st the Bulldogs will honour the Hamilton/St. John's rivalry, have a Newfoundland theme night, and a live band perform in the stands. More details will be released in the days leading up to April 1st.
"We look forward to hosting a big party at the Dog Pound on April 1st versus the Maple Leafs to celebrate, and as is our tradition, proudly incorporate a worthy charitable cause such as City Kidz," said Brian Lewis, Bulldogs' Executive Director of Operations.
The Bulldogs have partnered up with City Kidz for this special game. City Kidz is a non-profit charity that assists disadvantaged children living in the inner city of Hamilton. Bulldogs fans can help City Kidz by purchasing upper bowl tickets for $14 at numerous businesses throughout the Hamilton area. Proceeds from the discounted upper bowl ticket sales will go towards City Kidz. Please see all ticket locations below.
"The Hamilton Bulldogs have once again proved to be a superior role model in the community by utilizing the attraction of their games to generate goodwill, and to unite with the people of Hamilton to raise funds for local causes," said Diane Vanden Hoven, Director of Marketing for City Kidz.
The rivalry between the Bulldogs and Maple Leafs has produced exciting games and great fan interest over the past nine seasons. All-time Hamilton has earned 44 wins, 39 losses, 12 ties, 1 overtime loss and 1 shootout loss against St. John's. Before the final meeting on April 1st at Copps Coliseum, the Bulldogs will travel to St. John's for two games on March 18th and 19th at Mile One Stadium.
