Broncos Swing a Trade, Acquire Garrett Sambrook from Wheat Kings

The Swift Current Broncos made a trade early Friday morning, acquiring defenceman Garrett Sambrook from the Brandon Wheat Kings in exchange for a conditional ninth-round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
The 18-year-old product of Medora, MB has played in seven contests for the Virden Oil Capitals of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) and has tallied three assists along with eight penalty minutes.
Sambrook played parts of three seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings from 2015-18 and recorded 10 points (1g-9a) in 70 regular season games.
Sambrook was originally drafted by the Brandon Wheat Kings in the sixth round, 132 overall in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.
