Broncos bolster depth up front with acquisition of McGauley

Swift Current, SK: The Swift Current Broncos made a trade to address their forward depth by acquiring 18-year-old forward Colum McGauley from the Kelowna Rockets. Going back to Kelowna is an eighth round pick in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft.
McGauley's first WHL season was last year, in which the Nelson, BC product skated in 47 games for the Rockets. The 5'11", 174lb forward notched two goals and 14 penalty minutes. McGauley was originally drafted by the Spokane Chiefs in the fourth round, 75th overall in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.
The Broncos home opener is set for Friday, September 21st vs. the Saskatoon Blades at the Innovation Credit Union I-Plex. Season tickets for the 2018-19 campaign are available and can be purchased by either calling 306-773-1509 ext. 1 or visiting the Stable during regular summer box office hours.
