Broncos Acquire Lernout from Blades

Swift Current, SK - Swift Current Bronco General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb, announced that the team has acquired 17-year-old defenceman, Brett Lernout from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a fourth round pick in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.

In 18 games played with the Blades so far this season, the 6'4", 200-pound product of Winnipeg, MB has recorded 15 penalty minutes. Lernout was listed by the Blades in 2011.

"He's a young, right-handed shot who fits the identity and style of our hockey team well," announces General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb. "We have seen strong improvements in his game and are excited to have him join us."
