Breton Gets AHL Call-Up to Manitoba

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA - Alaska Aces forward Justin Breton is on his way to Manitoba after recieving a call-up from the AHL club.

Aces Coach and President of Hockey Operations Rob Murray made the announcement Monday.

The 26 year old Breton has been a mainstay of the Aces offense this season. His 22 goals place him tops among all Aces players, and his 38 total points have him fourth on the team.

"Justin has worked hard for this opportunity," said Murray. "His speed is his calling-card, and will be a real asset at the next level".

This Breton's first on-loan call-up to the AHL.

Manitoba is currently in 8th place in the Central Division of the AHL.

The Moose are coached by former Aces defenseman and head coach Keith McCambridge.

The Aces return to the Sullivan Arena ice on Thursday, March 24 against Rapid City.
