Bradenton, FL - The Marauders (16-12) increased their South Division lead to 1.5 games with a 9-4 win over the St. Lucie Mets on Thursday night at LECOM Park. LF Logan Hill hit a three-run home run in the first and RF Kevin Krause followed with a two-run bomb in the second as Bradenton led throughout to help RHP Pedro Vasquez earn his second win. Vasquez pitched five innings and struck out four. RHP Bret Helton contributed two scoreless frames. RHP Sam Street rec- orded the final five outs. SS Cole Tucker had three hits and an RBI. Krause finished with three RBIs. 2B Mitchell Tolman reached base four times. UP NEXT: The Marauders face the Blue Jays...First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m...
