Brad Hunt Replaces Brett Sterling on AHL All-Star Team

Chicago Wolves defenseman BRAD HUNT has replaced left wing BRETT STERLING on the Western Conference team for the 2013 Dunkin' Donuts American Hockey League All-Star Classic, which takes place on Jan. 27-28 in Providence, R.I.

The 24-year-old HUNT paces team defensemen and ranks second overall on Chicago with 16 assists and leads club blueliners and holds fourth overall on the Wolves with 18 points in 33 games during his rookie campaign this season.

The Maple Ridge, British Columbia, native made his pro debut in 14 contests with the Wolves last season after being signed to an Amateur Tryout Contract (ATO) on March 14; he posted 4 helpers and 5 points.

HUNT also led Bemidji State University with 21 assists and ranked third on the team with 26 points in 38 games during his senior campaign last year. Overall, he amassed 24 goals, 88 assists, and 112 points while appearing in all 150 games during his college career with Bemidji State from 2008-12.

STERLING will miss the AHL All-Star Classic due to an injury he suffered in the Wolves game on Jan. 18.
