Bowman Named CFL Player of the Week

(Edmonton) - Eskimos slotback Adarius Bowman is a CFL Player of the Week for Week 3 for his performance in last Friday's 39-36 overtime victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.
Bowman led the Eskimos receiving corps with 141 yards - marking his second consecutive 100-yard receiving game to open the season. He finished the night with six catches and three touchdowns, including hauling in a 56-yard TD in the second quarter.
CFL Players of the Week are chosen by a panel of judges who independently send their selections to the CFL head office. The panel includes former players Matt Dunigan and Duane Forde of TSN and Pierre Vercheval of RDS.
The Eskimos head to Investors Group Field in Winnipeg to take on the Blue Bombers this Thursday. Kickoff is 6:30 p.m. MT. Fans in Edmonton can catch game action at the first Coors Light Watch Party of the season at 1st Round Downtown.
